    Ken Brodzinski

    Neighbor,

My name is Ken Brodzinski. I've lived in Troy since 1991, where my wife and I have raised three children, all proud graduates of Troy public schools. We’ve been married for 36 years, and I’m grateful to call this community home. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!

    Education:
    - Bachelor of Science (BS), Quantitative Management Science, St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri
    - Master of Science in Businees Information Technology (MSBIT) - Walsh College, Troy Michigan

    Employment:
    - 34 years with EDS/GM/HP/HPE/DXC. Finished my career as a Senior Systems Engineer / Database administrator (DBA). Held multiple roles in leadership throughout my career
    - Worked for the US Commerce Department on the 2020 Census
    - Worked for the City of Troy for 6 years as an election inspector. Promoted to precinct chairperson

    Youth baseball:
When my sons were young, we signed them up for Troy Baseball Boosters (TBB). I coached their teams from Farm League (6 year olds) all the way through Bronco (high school). In addition to coaching, I served on the TBB board to schedule games, train umpires, and manage the various youth leagues.

    - We are dog lovers. We own 2 small dogs, Laila (10 year old Mal-Shi) and Ellie (1.5 year old Mal-Shi)
    - In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball. FYI, the new pickleball courts at Firefighters Park are FANTASTIC!
    - I’m a lifelong tennis player. I continue to run a 4.0-4.5 men’s tennis league at the Troy Racquet Club
    - I grew up watching hockey as a St. Louis Blues fan, but now I root for both the Blues AND the Red Wings.
    - Played ice hockey (although not very well!)
    - Classic rock is my go-to genre of music
    - Fishing
    - Cruising / traveling
    - Driving my 67 Pontiac Firebird

As a lifelong Troy resident, I am grateful for all Troy has to offer - which is why I have decided to run for city council, and to work to preserve our great city. I would be honored to earn your vote and to serve my community.

    Warm regards,

    Ken Brodzinski
